It has happened to YouTube Creators, now it is happening to Amazon Influencers: It seems that scammers are using the real names of innocent people to try and pull off a scam.

For example, according to a new post on Reddit, a person received this email, claiming to come from Danielle Weingarten, Director of Public Relations, L’Oréal Paris at L’Oréal.

However, the dead giveaway that it is a scam, and isn’t really from Weingarten is the GMAIL address:

Folks on Reddit at the link below are warning people that this is a scam.

It’s the same scam that people are attemtping to run on YouTubers, such as emails claiming to be sent from “Marcel Lasota, PR Manager at Sony” or folks from Evian water.
