On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at approximately 1600 hours, Detective M Tagler, was notified of the missing person investigation involving Madeline Soto, one day after the 13-year-old was reported missing. Tagler responded to assist with canvassing. She responded to the initial command post, located at 5100 Town Center Boulevard, Orlando, Florida. Upon her arrival, she was tasked to speak to Stephan Sterns with Detective L Acosta. Later that night, nearly at midnight, she spoke with Maddie’s mother.
