Sydney Powell court trial in Akron, Ohio, on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023: Bodycam video played, dad Steven Powell testifies

From pre-trial on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, to opening statements the next day, the “Mother Stabbed Murder Trial” gets underway

It didn’t take long for Sydney Powell to break down upon hearing the horrific details of her mother’s brutal death today, Thursday, September 7, 2023. Sydney was even allowed to leave the courtroom before the bodycam video footage was played from the fatal day of Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

The bodycam footage is apparently so troubling that the lawyers had to issue a couple of warnings to the jury as they played it. Those of us watching via a Court TV livestream did not see the bodycam videos of the day that cops arrived to find Sydney hysterical in her Akron, Ohio, home, claiming someone broke in.

Police also found her mother Brenda Powell, then 50, bleeding out but clinging to life. I’ve requested the footage but I’ll have to do a lot of blurring or editing of the bodycam videos.
